Classes
We are excited to announce Intro to Honey Bee Keeping Class will be held sometime in May. Total cost of the 3 hour class is $35 and will focus on new bee keepers although everyone is welcome.
The class will include putting together a hive and maintaining it. Swarms vs. buying hives. There will be a short talk about queens, honey and harvesting. Common diseases and issues will also be discussed. After class, those that are interested are invited to put on vails and other protection and take a short walk to our established hives for a hands on experience.
Bring your lunch (if you want). Coffee and water will be provided.
If you are interested, please contact us at PruschFarmPark@gmail.com to confirm and we will better be able to accommodate all those that are interested. Space is limited. Class will be taught by University of California Cooperative Extension Master Bee Keeper Robert Martinez.
