The class will include putting together a hive and maintaining it. Swarms vs. buying hives. There will be a short talk about queens, honey and harvesting. Common diseases and issues will also be discussed. After class, those that are interested are invited to put on vails (available to borrow) and other protection and take a short walk to our established hives for a hands-on experience.
Bring your lunch (if you want). Lite snacks, coffee and water will be provided.
