PRUSCH FARM PARK FOUNDATION
Scholarships for Agriculture Majors
The Prusch Farm Park Foundation is pleased to award a maximum of three $1,000 scholarships annually students studying in the field of agriculture.
ELIGIBILITY: Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
*. Be enrolled as a full-time student in a U.S. university or college with a major in agriculture or a related field.
TO APPLY; Complete the application located on this website and submit electronically. There are no deadlines or time constraints. We will need the following in order to complete the application process:
1. A one page essay based on your personal interest and experience in the field of agronomy, including past clubs, organizations and how you would like to contribute to the field of agriculture in the future. This essay is key to your application (worth 40%), therefore, the more information, personal history and insight you can share the better. It should be single-spaced with 11point font and must NOT include your name or school anywhere on the essay.
2. Transcripts from all colleges and/or universities you have attended (worth30%). Unofficial transcripts or photocopies are acceptable but must be clearly legible.
3. One letter of recommendation (worth 30%) from a college or university faculty member or from someone involved in the field of your major, or industry professional. Letters must be emailed directly from the authors to PruschFarmPark@gmail.com.
SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS: Three scholarships will be awarded upon selection and proof of enrollment. Recipients will be notified as soon as is reasonably possible after application, with funding directly to recipient within 30 days. Recipients are required to report the monetary award to the financial aid department of the school in which they are enrolled. All applications become the property of The Prusch Farm Park Foundation and will not be shared with any other organizations and will be destroyed upon funding.
